Dear God, I’m being berated by the enemy, attacking my insecurities. Please hear me as I turn to Your words of love and devotion for me. But the fact that You like me? That’s almost incomprehensible. Your love is why You gave Your only Son so that I might have eternal life.1 What a profound expression of Your affection! Right now, help me to embrace this truth that I am pricelessly valued and completely cherished in Your eyes.
Lord, I long to acknowledge the fullness of Your love in my life. What Jesus did, allows me free access to You and the opportunity to cultivate a personal relationship with You.2 Why would You want that with someone You did not like? You wouldn’t! That’s why I know You want a close connection with me. As I grow in faith, I want to continuously offer up a sacrifice of praise to You, acknowledging Your goodness and grace.3
When I feel inadequate or unworthy, like now, please remind me that You came to give me an abundant life.4 Help me to reject the enemy’s lies that I am not worthy of Your love. You did not send Your Son to condemn me but to save me.5 This assurance fills me with hope and joy. I also seek to embody Your love in my daily interactions. May I live in a way that honors what You did and our relationship.6
Help me remember that while I struggle, the truth is You are always with me, nurturing my spirit and guiding my path. As I reflect on Your Word, I am reminded that I am made in Your image, and You delight in me as Your creation. Thank You for being my strength and for liking me for who I am. I choose to walk in confidence, knowing I am loved, accepted, and valued by You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
