Lord, Jesus, You know very well how this bankruptcy is a tremendous burden to me. Yet, I’m trying to do the right thing. But it’s a very heavy weight. It’s why I’m asking for Your guidance and support, and I trust that You are with me every step of the way. Your Word promises that You will supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.1 Help me to lean on this promise as I navigate through the challenges of rebuilding my financial stability.
Lord, I’m acknowledging that I cannot rely solely on my understanding.2 Please guide my decisions and help me be diligent in my planning for the future. I know that You have plans for my welfare, to give me a future and a hope.3 May I look to You as my Shepherd, knowing that with You, I shall not want.4
As I work towards recovery, I ask that Your grace abounds in my life. Inspire me to abound in good works during this time.5 Help me to keep my focus on seeking Your kingdom first, trusting that all my needs will be met when I prioritize You.6 I pray for wisdom to make sound financial decisions, and I ask You to guide me as I rebuild my financial life.7
Lord, help me to guard against covetousness and the temptation to measure my worth by material possessions.8 Remind me my true riches are found in You and that my value is not determined by what I own but by my identity as Your child.
Though I may stumble during this journey, I am grateful for the assurance that You will uphold me.9 Thank You for Your unwavering support and guidance as I recover from this season of difficulty, in Jesus’ name, I pray.
