You know, Jesus, You made our mind so that it almost never shuts off. It’s running all the time, even

Lord, God. You know my situation, and You also know that I’ve made it bigger than it really is. And

Father God, I’m here to talk about the thoughts that are tormenting me. They’re like a weird noise that is

Jesus, You are the bravest Person who’s ever lived. I am not. In fact, I often live under my bed—figuratively

My Father, with death at my doorstep, You know how I’m feeling; it’s no secret that I’m afraid. So, please

Jesus, I confess that I worry a lot. I also admit that it doesn’t help—with anything! It steals time and

Jesus, I’ve been told, not to focus on circumstances but to do my best to keep my eyes on You.
