Demonic Oppression

Holy Father, You have overcome the world, the enemy and all his minions. Nevertheless, I am feeling the crushing weight of demonic oppression. At times it’s even hard to breathe, which is why I am here… Your Word says You’ve given me authority to overcome the power of the enemy, and I claim that authority as I seek liberation from any lies and darkness that may surround me.1

Help me to remember that my struggle is not just against what I can see, but against the unseen forces of evil in the heavenly places.2 Help me be more watchful, knowing that my adversary prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.3 I submit myself fully to You, trusting that as I resist the devil, he will flee from me.4 Cover me with Your whole armor, equipping me to stand firm against his schemes.5 Teach me to be discerning and to test every spirit, ensuring that I stand firm in Your truth and not in deception.6

Lord, grant me the assurance that he who is in me is greater than he who is in the world.7 I know I am protected by Your mighty power, and I seek Your light in the darkness.8 Help me to proclaim liberty over my life and to remember the mission of Christ—to bring healing and set free those who are oppressed.9

I pray for faith like those who brought the afflicted to You for mercy and deliverance.10 May Your divine power remind me that I have everything I need for life and godliness.11 Strengthen me, O Lord, to remain steadfast and vigilant, giving no opportunity for the enemy to gain a foothold in my life.12 Lastly, I ask for peace amidst this battle. Let Your presence envelope me, bringing clarity and calm to my worried mind and spirit. Thank You for Your unending love and support, in Jesus’ name, I pray.
