Father, standing up for my faith can be intimidating. No one likes to be rejected or ridiculed. However, You stood up for me, when everyone turned against You. That’s more love and courage than I’ve ever known. Please grant me that kind of boldness, despite any threats or challenges I may face.1 Fill me with the confidence that comes from knowing that I am Your ambassador, entrusted with the mystery of the gospel. May I declare it fearlessly, as I ought to speak.2
Lord, You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and selfcontrol. Help me not to be ashamed of the testimony about my Lord, but to share in suffering for the gospel by Your power.3 Strengthen me to proclaim Your truth without fear, knowing that You are with me always. Even when the circumstances seem overwhelming, help me to trust in Your presence and Your protection.4
As You spoke to Jeremiah, remind me that my youth or inexperience is no barrier to Your calling. Wherever You send me, give me the words to speak and the courage to declare Your truth without hesitation.5 Let me follow the example of Paul, who in the middle of conflict, boldly proclaimed the gospel of God.6
Lord, let me not fear those who can harm the body but have no power over my soul. Instead, grant me reverence for You, the One who holds all things in Your hands.7 Open doors for Your Word, that I may declare the mystery of Christ clearly, as I ought to speak.8 I commit my voice, my heart, and my life to Your service. May Your Holy Spirit empower me to proclaim Your kingdom with boldness and without hindrance, just as Your apostles did.9 In Jesus name.
