Jesus, I’m almost ashamed to come before You, because I’m burdened with guilt and regret. However, Your Word promises that if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness.1 So, Lord, I humbly bring my sins before You, knowing that nothing is hidden from You, trusting in Your mercy and grace.
I am comforted by Your promise that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.2 Help me to let go of the guilt that lingers in my heart, knowing that You have already paid the price for my sins. Like the psalmist, I acknowledge my wrongdoing and refuse to hide my iniquity, believing in Your forgiveness and grace.3
Lord, I thank You for the cleansing power of Your love. Though my sins were like scarlet, You have washed them white as snow.4 I come before You with a sincere heart, trusting that my conscience can be purified and my spirit renewed.5 Remind me, Lord, that I am a new creation in Christ; the old has passed away, and the new has come.6
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sins.7 Help me to accept that You are the one who blots out my transgressions for Your own sake and remembers them no more.8 Fill me with peace, knowing I am justified through faith in Jesus and reconciled to You.9
Thank You, Lord, for redeeming me through the blood of Jesus, for forgiving my trespasses according to the riches of Your grace.10 I ask for strength to release this guilt, to walk in the freedom and peace You provide, and to trust in Your everlasting love. I am grateful for Your mercy, and I choose today to live in the truth of Your forgiveness, in Jesus’ name.
