Dear Jesus, I know you understand my circumstances. And so, You are fully aware that I need strength and hope living with my handicapped body. Yet, I still want to acknowledge that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, designed in Your image.1 Help me to have a clear image of how much You love me, and how valuable I am to You. Which tells me that You have called me to a purpose, and I trust that there is a plan for my life, even amidst the difficulties.
Your Word assures us that “there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”.2 Help me to remember that my value is not diminished by my physical limitations. I pray that Your love would fill my heart and replace any feelings of inadequacy or frustration.
When I face moments of despair, remind me that I am from You, and that “he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world”.3 I am grateful for Your presence in my life, guiding and empowering me to overcome the challenges I encounter. Help me to lean on Your strength, knowing that I can do all things through You who strengthens me.4
I also pray for others who face similar challenges. May they know they are not alone and feel Your love and comfort surrounding them. Remind us all that every moment of hardship can produce growth, endurance, and character,5 leading ultimately to hope.6 Help us to support one another in love as we navigate our journeys. Thank You, Lord, for being my refuge and strength. Your faithfulness endures, and I trust that You will continue to guide me and provide for all my needs. Remind me always that my purpose is fulfilled through my relationship with You, and let my life reflect Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
