Father God, we come to You, recognizing Your unchanging nature and the examples of faith You have given us in Your Word.1 Throughout history, You have raised individuals who stood firm against the moral decline of their nations, steadfast in their commitment to Your truth. As we reflect on their stories, we ask that You raise a new generation with the same courage and faithfulness to stand for righteousness in our time.2
Lord, we remember Joshua and Miriam, who reminded the people of Your mighty deeds.3 We pray for leaders today who will continually point us to Your power and faithfulness. We think of Moses, Gideon, and Hezekiah, who confronted idolatry and led the people back to true worship.4 We ask that You raise leaders to confront the idols of our age and guide us to worship You alone.5
Father, we lift up the examples of Caleb, Moses, and Paul, who stood against grumbling and urged trust in Your promises.6 May those called today encourage us to embrace faith over fear. We also remember Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, who faced rebellion with prayer and wisdom.7 In this time of division, we ask for leaders who will seek Your guidance and lead with integrity.
Lord, we recall Joshua and Caleb, who urged the people to trust Your promises and not return to Egypt.8 Raise up voices today to remind us to press forward in faith. We reflect on Moses, Hezekiah, and David, who trusted and obeyed You even when tested.9 Lord, we remember Cyrus, a gentile King who was moved by Your hand to enable the Jewish people to return to their land and rebuild the House of God.10 We pray that leaders arise in this hour who seek to fulfill Your Kingdom purposes.
