Heavenly Father, We come before You with hearts filled with gratitude and faith, knowing that You are the protector and keeper of Israel. You have promised in Your Word that we should not fear, for You are with us. We ask for Your mighty hand to cover the nation of Israel, strengthening and upholding them as they stand in the face of adversity. May Your presence be a constant source of courage and refuge for Your people. As Your Word says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”.1
Lord, we thank You that You never sleep nor slumber, but You are always vigilant over Israel. You are the Keeper of Israel, and You will not forsake them.2 We claim the promise that “he who touches you touches the apple of His eye”,3 and we pray that any enemy who rise against your chosen people would be confronted with Your protection over Israel. We declare that You have redeemed Israel and called them by name. No flood, no fire, no trial will overcome them, for You are with them every step of the way.4 We trust in Your sheltering arms, for You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.5
Father, let the nations know Your greatness and holiness, and let all who oppose Your chosen people be confounded. You are the Lord who fights for Israel, and the battle is Yours.6 We pray for Your peace to reign over the land of Israel, that no weapon formed against them would prosper.7
May Your blessings rest upon Israel, O Lord, and may Your face shine upon them, granting them peace.8 Surround them as the mountains surround Jerusalem and keep them secure from all harm.9 In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
