Lord, I know You promise to take care of Your children, but I’m not the best at trusting that promise. Which is why I’m here, by faith I acknowledge that You are my provider and sustainer. Your Word reminds me that You supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory through Christ Jesus.1 Help me to trust that You make all grace abound toward me so that in all things, I may have all I need and abound in every good work.2
Lord, I confess my anxiety about my needs. But You assure me that my Heavenly Father knows what I need, and if I seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, all these things will be added to me.3 Help me trust You, knowing that if I, who am flawed, know how to give good gifts to my children, how much more will You give good things to those who ask.4
“You are my Shepherd, and I lack nothing.”5 I have been young and now am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread.6 Those who seek You lack no good thing.7 Help me keep my life free from the love of money and be content with what I have, for You promised never to leave or forsake me.8 Just as You care for the ravens, who neither sow nor reap, and yet You feed them, I am much more valuable to You than the birds.9
Lord, I bring my worries to You in prayer, with thanksgiving, knowing You hear my every request.10 Your divine power has granted me everything I need for life and godliness.11 Father, You who provide for the ravens will surely provide for me. Though the thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, You have come that I may have life and have it abundantly.12 If You did not spare Your own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will You not graciously give us all things along with Him,13 in Jesus’ name, Amen.
