Father, I come to You, again, afraid that I might miss what You have planned for me. Your Word clearly states that for everything there is a season and a time for every purpose. Yet, I feel anxious that I might be out of step or sync with You.
You are the God who makes a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.1 You promise to pour out Your Spirit on all flesh, that sons and daughters will prophesy, and the old will dream dreams.2 But I fear I may not perceive Your outpouring or the miracles unfolding before me.
However, Your Word reassures me that no eye has seen, nor ear heard, what You have prepared for those who love You.3 Help me trust that You will reveal everything I need in Your perfect timing. I know that You, who began a good work in me, will bring it to completion.4
Lord, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide me into all truth and declare what is to come.5 Help me to be sensitive to Your Spirit and fully present to Your work in my life. I trust that You are not slow to fulfill Your promise but are patient with us.6
Help me seek first Your kingdom, trusting that all things will be added unto me.7 Guide my steps, lift my eyes to heavenly things, and remind me to trust that You are leading me perfectly. In Jesus’ name.
